William D. Kaylor

December 15, 1945 — December 21, 2025

William "Bill" Daniel Kaylor passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025 at the Inn at Northwood Village in Dover, Ohio. Bill was born on December 15, 1945 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the son of Ronald E. Kaylor and Sarah Ann (Jenkins) Kaylor. He graduated from Perry High School in Massillon, Ohio with the Class of 1963. He attended The Ohio State University for two years and then decided to join the U.S. Army Medical Corp Reserves, serving for six years. In September 1967, he moved from Ohio to Dallas, TX, and then in January 1968 he started working at the Mercedes Benz dealership in Dallas as a salesman. In 1977, Bill became the sales manager and held this position until 1989. During his tenure as the sales manager he received several awards, along with being named the Star Sales Manager of the Southwest. These prestigious awards included several trips to Europe, and Hawaii. After retiring he enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ron and Sally, his older brother Ronald L. Kaylor D.D.S., and his partner of 32 years, John Scott Rogers. He is survived by four siblings, Jeffrey L. Kaylor CPA, CFP, Melissa Ann (Kaylor) Rayle, Douglas E. Kaylor, D.D.S., and Susan K. Fritz, as well as sisters-in- law, Nina, Michelle, Leina, and brother-in-law Mike, along with numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff at The Inn at Northwood Village, along with Crossroads Hospice, for all of the loving care they provided to Bill since July 1, 2024 when he returned to Ohio with his sister Susan.

There will be no services, as Bill requested to be cremated, with no formal end of life services. If you so desire, the family requests that memorial donations be made to your local humane society, as Bill was an extreme animal lover.
