Timothy Geul

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Timothy Walter Geul, affectionately known as Tim, who was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 18, 2024 in Barberton, Ohio. Surrounded by his loving family, Tim, at the age of 66, left behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering positivity. He battled cancer for over a decade with resilience, always maintaining a hopeful spirit throughout his journey.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Sally Sherman, and his cherished dog, Army. He is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Amy, and his daughters Cadeenia, Tia (Tommy), and Barbara. He also leaves behind his stepdaughters Emily and Andrea, along with his cherished grandchildren Shaun, Chloe, and Colby. Tim will be deeply missed by his brother Donnie (Danielle) and sister Liz (Ken), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He also held a special place in his heart for his stepchildren from previous marriages: Sherri, Terry, Felicia, and Nicole.

Tim was known for his generosity, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. His kind heart and loving nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service to celebrate Tim's life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Shoreline Community Church, 790 Carnegie Ave, Akron, Ohio 44314. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Tim's honor. Tim's family thanks all who have supported them through this difficult time and asks for prayers for peace and comfort.
