Robert Garey

Robert was born July 19,1952. Born in Ravenna Ohio. Preceded in death by wife Rose in 2023 and daughter Antoinette in 2022. Parents Robert Garey Sr. And Annabelle Long. Brother Ronald Garey and sister Lori Long. He leaves sister Charlotte Hinkle (Harold) and Walter Long Jr. Many nieces and nephews and cousins. Robert graduated from Hower trade in 1970 and spent many years as an engineer. He was a Vietnam veteran and was missing in action for several months. After returning home he had a career that sent him to Malaysia and helped build a manufacturing plant making latex gloves. His career ended when he had a stroke that disabled his ability to communicate. His mind remaind strong and his love for his family never waivered. We will miss him terribly. We would like to thank Maplewood nursing facility for their love and Care they extended to him and his family for the last two years he was there, as well as Pebble Creek for the previous 5 years.

A graveside service will take place Monday, October 6, 2025 At Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 10:00am located at 10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273.
