Richard Clifton Stegal

Richard (Dick) Clifton Stegal age 87, of Peninsula Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, February 22, 2026. He was born July 4th, 1938 in Akron Ohio. He is the son of the late Hazel and Nancy Stegal.

Dick was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who proudly served his country honorably in the United States Marines. Dick was a Carpenter and a member of Carpenters' Local Union #285. He was passionate about fishing and loved his time on the water. There are many great stories that will be passed on to younger generations about his fishing excursions.

Dick is survived his wife (Arlene) of 64 years, his daughter Susan Stegal, sons and daughter in-laws: Richard and Sherry Stegal, John and Crystal Stegal, Paul and Heather Stegal; 8 grand children and 1 great grandchild.
