Richard "Sonny" McCollam

Richard E. McCollam Jr. "Sonny" of Barberton, Ohio passed away on Friday September 1, 2023. Sonny was born March 31, 1959 in Charleston,WV to the late Richard Sr. and Louise Layne McCollam Pettit. Sonny enjoyed the outdoors: fishing, hunting, and trapping.

He is preceded in death by his parents, step-father Shannon Pettit, brothers Steve McCollam, Doug McCollam, and Scott Pettit. He leaves behind brothers Alan McCollam and Daniel Pettit and sister Pamela Pettit Murphy(Marshall) along with several nieces and nephews. There will be no services at this time.
