Richard Isaac Robert Garske

Richard Isaac Robert Garske passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on October 18, 1962, Richard lived a life filled with strength and adventure.

A graduate of Ellet High School, he went on to become a skilled diesel truck repair technician who took great pride in his work.

Richard had a deep passion for music and found great joy in the outdoors, especially when snowmobiling through the winter landscapes of Illinois. At home he enjoyed the quiet routine of observing and tending to his home aquarium. Known for his humor and distinct presence, he brought a special energy to the lives of everyone who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and laughter. His clever spirit, his hobbies, and his dedication to his family will be forever cherished.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Garske; his devoted son Jeff Garske; and his faithful German Shepard, Koda.

He is deeply missed by his family and friends.
