Priscilla Jean Candellari

Priscilla (Pat) Jean Candellari passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026 at 85 years old. She was born on August 17, 1940 to John Henry and Josephine (Thompson) Candellari and grew up in Bangor, Maine.

Pat is survived by her loving sons and daughter-in-laws: John and Karan Ankney, Charles and Kim Ankney, Kris Ankney, and Marguerita Ankney; her grandchildren: Nicholas (Mai) Ankney, Kira Ankney (Erick), Crystal (Garrett) Scherba, Chelsea (Micheal) Massaro, Benjamin Ankney (Donna), and Lauryn Ankney; her great-grandchildren: Sydney, Mila, Mia, Chang, Henry, Noah, Elliott, and Erick; her sisters: Mary Worcester and Sharon Clark; close friend: Leroy, and many extended family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents: John and Josephine Candellari; her former husband Fred Ankney Sr; her son Fred Ankney Jr; and her siblings: Irving, Leonard, Kenneth, Ellen, Christine, Shirley, Marjorie, Loretta, and Elizabeth.

Pat loved spending time in Amish country, where she found joy in the peaceful scenery and the simplicity of the Amish culture. She was an avid cat lover and cherished the companionship they brought to her life. She also enjoyed crocheting, word-search puzzles, and listening to country music.

Pat will be remembered for her generous heart, feisty spirit, and quick wit. She was strong-willed and determined, never afraid to speak her mind, while always carrying a deep love and care for those around her.

Honoring Pat's wishes, no formal services will be held. The family will remember and celebrate her life privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Pat's memory to Kitten Krazy in Medina, Ohio or your local animal shelter.
