Patricia Kalail

Patricia Anne (Boles) Kalail passed away July 29, 2023 from complications due to a long battle with dementia. She was 86 years old.

Patricia was born in Akron, Ohio in 1937 to the late Oris and Mae Boles. She was also preceded in death by her husband Fred Kalail and her brothers William Boles and James (Kathryn) Boles. She will be deeply missed by her son, Michael Mondello and her nieces, Lisa (Jeffrey) Balough and Jennifer (Patrick) Durkin. She also leaves behind countless friends who were dear to her.

Patty attended St. Vincent High School where she was a majorette. She attended the University of Akron. She then worked at the Yellow Pages of Ohio Bell where she became the top saleswoman numerous times. She retired in 1976.

Patty was an avid volunteer for City Hospital and numerous other charities. She loved attending St. Patrick's Day events at the Hibernian Club of Akron and celebrated in her true Irish spirit. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her caring and kindness to all that she met.

Cremation and private ceremony has already taken place. One of the greatest joys of Patty's life were her wonderful pets. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to One of a Kind Pets Rescue, 1924 West Market Street, Akron, OH or your local dementia/Alzheimer's Association.
