Margie Uplinger

Margie "Dodie" Uplinger (nee Novak), 60, of Akron, OH, passed away on November 14, 2023. She was born on March 29, 1963, in Sacramento, CA, to Betty Gardner and Bob Novak.

Margie is survived by her beloved son Robert Uplinger (JNell), daughters Veronica Uplinger (Jeffery) Destiny Comeione (Tony), and Elizabeth Uplinger (Josh). She was a cherished grandmother to Jeremiah, Grant, Gio, Max, and Jovi. Loving brothers Jimmy and Ricky Novak, many nieces nephews and cousins.

Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert L. Uplinger, sister Kim Haberle, and her parents.

In her spare time, Margie had a passion for cats and enjoyed spending time with them. She also found solace in visiting the beach and expressing her creativity through drawing and coloring.

A private memorial dinner to celebrate Margie's life will be held at a later date.
