Linda Darlene Williams

Linda D (Laney) Williams, 75 years young, passed on July 3, 2026. She was born on July 6, 1950 in Akron and has resided here her whole life. Linda worked for Children's Hospital for 21 years and then retired from the post office. She enjoyed fishing and hanging with her family and friends. Linda enjoyed Door Dashing to pass her time.

She is preceded in death by her father, John C Laney; mother, Geraldine Laney; sister, Carol Ann Dickson and nephew, Shawn Evancheck.

She is survived by her son, Jon Paul (Misty) Williams; daughter Shanan (Jeff) LaMonica; grandchildren, Shane, Christopher, Jeffrey (Jayboy), Tristan; great grandchildren, Aaron Lee, Alexis (Ally cat) and Theo James; her brother, Jack (Elaine) Laney, Denise (Brian) Lutz and many nieces and nephews

She is also survived by her very true friends, Rose Aungst, Debbie Edelman and Nancy Abbott.

She will truly be missed by many.
