John LaCroix

John J "Wolf" LaCroix, 68, of Akron died 8/29/2024. he was born in Akron to James and Rita (Haidet) LaCroix.

John is survived by sisters Gail A. LaCroix of Florida, Marilyn (Robert) Keith of Akron, Patricia (Michael) Harris of Findlay, Denise (Michael) Mehwald of Strongsville, sister-in-law, Gail E. LaCroix of Cuyahoga Falls, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James LaCroix.

John was a true individual and free spirit. He had a kind and generous soul and was always ready to help anyone in need. He never met a stranger. John was always happiest being outdoors, working with tools, or wood. He was never without his camera and took beautiful nature photos. John also had a great appreciation for Native American culture, and an unwavering love of all animals, especially wolves.

There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Southern Ohio Wolf Sanctuary.
