It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of John William Bailey, 64 on June 13th 2025. He was born on November 1, 1960 in Akron Ohio to the late Jack William Bailey and Patricia Jean (Price) Bailey.
He lived a life defined by dedication to Family, love, and God. He played his Harmonica for many years at The Full Gospel Tabernacle where he has been a member. John attended other churches through the years and he embraced all his church family. John has always had a love for helping others with a great big heart. John took pride in everything he did whether he was fixing a lawn mower or making fried potatoes, going to the scrap yard with his nephews, and working on crafts with the women. He loved country music. He was loved by all of us, and will be missed.
John is survived by his loving mother Patricia Jean (Price) Bailey, brothers Jerry Bailey, Albert (Jill) Bailey, Robert (Joann) Bailey, Donna Bailey, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Also survived by his dear Uncle Clark and Aunt Carol, special friends, Delsie (Bob) Pierson and Ruby (David) and cousin Wanda (Nathan) Harris. He was preceded in death by father Jack William Bailey. He will be greeted by Jimmy Pierson with arms wide open!
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 12th, 2025 time will be 2PM, at The Full Gospel Tabernacle 939 Utica Ave Akron Ohio 44312 and reception following in community hall. His remains will be buried at Coens Cemetery In West Virginia.
