Joan Penni Mundy

Penni Mundy, 87, of Green, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 16, 1939, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to the late Clarence and Margaret Scheirer.

In 2008, she and her husband moved to Green to be closer to family-especially her granddaughters, to whom she gave unwavering love, support, and acceptance at every opportunity.

Penni was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; family meant everything to her. She worked as a banker and jeweler and had a lifelong passion for dogs. With her lively personality and kind heart, she brought a smile to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Melvin; her son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Becky; her two cherished granddaughters, Jessica and Morgan Mundy; and her special niece and her husband, Michelle and Jack Lloyd.

A celebration of Penni's life will be held at a later date.
