Jeffrey Paul Swain, 64, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 in an Akron, Ohio hospital.
Jeff had been a resident of Norton, Ohio for the last 37 years, and worked as an Ironworker for the Local 17 in Cleveland before retiring. You would most likely find him cheering on his grandchildren in a plethora of sports or working on projects for his two amazing sons, Brian and Jesse. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his family and friends. He enjoyed his Cleveland sports teams and loved watching the Buckeyes. Jeff had such a special bond with both of his sons, he wasn't just an incredible father, he was their best friend. He led with his heart and was as selfless as they came. We certainly know he lived life to the fullest and nobody was going to slow him down. He enjoyed anything with a motor, that's for sure. From motorcycle rides with his buddies to taking the hot rod he built from the ground up to the local car shows. There wasn't anything he couldn't build or fix, he was the jack of all trades. Jeff was also known for his sweet tooth that he shared and supported every time he was with his grandchildren. May his memory forever be a blessing and his light continue to shine within all who loved him.
