Janet L. Rhoades

On July 5th, after battling dementia and suffering a massive stroke,

Janet L. Rhoades- Hess has been called home to our Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald & Elsie Hess, Biological mother Evelyn Hess, Husband John R. Rhoades, and Son Daniel C. Estright. Many Fur-babies including Bobby, Cupcake, Mugsy, Romeo, and Malone. She is survived by siblings David Dorst & Sue (Mike) Dorst- Davis, and Nieces, her children David (Kris) M. Estright & Fawna L. Rhoades. Grandchildren, Brandon, Katalina (Brandon), Faith (Ryan), and Christian (Tiffany). Great-Grandchildren Brodee & Paisley to whom she was lovingly referred to as "GiGi". She also leaves behind her best friends Sharon & Vera who have been a great support through the progression of her cognitive decline secondary to Dementia, something our family will be forever grateful for. She also leaves behind her Chihuahua, Diego, whom is grieving her loss tremendously.

Janet worked for over 30 years as an LPN in all types of settings prior to retiring from Lorantffy Care Center. The family would like to express gratitude and thanks to Crossroads Hospice of Green for the kind, compassionate, and supportive care they provided not only to Janet but to her daughter during the transition leading her home. You are ALL true angels here on earth!

On Friday July 10th at 11am, the family would love you all to join them at Cottage Grove EC Church, 3133 Cottage Grove Rd, Akron, OH 44319 to celebrate her life.

Janet never met a shade of pink she didn't like. She was obsessed with the color pink, complimenting her well. We ask that you wear something PINK in her honor to the service and celebration of her life.
