James Allen Gibson

James Gibson, who always went by Jim, passed away on May 3rd, 2026, at the age of 72. He was, and always will be loved, by his devoted wife, Lisa, of 10 1/2 years, his step-children, Cassidy Shaffer-Smith, Blake Bullion, and Todd Bullion, his sister, Patti Gibson, and many other relatives and close friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Robert (Bob) Gibson.

Jim loved making people laugh and had a great sense of humor. He was a dedicated classmate to his fellow Kenmore Cardinals, and held many get togethers over the years to continue their decades long friendship. He was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and a devoted dog Dad to Rocky.

His family will be holding a Celebration of Life, with those details to follow at a later date.
