George Burton

George Duane Burton, 68 of Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024 surrounded by his family and friends.

George was a life long resident of Akron and graduated from South High School in 1974, where he ran Track and Field. George loved traveling, animals and a true fan of the Cleveland Browns.

George was a kind, energetic and infectious personality that brought joy to any room he walked in. A beautiful soul who treated everyone with respect.

George was preceded in death by his parents Willie and June Burton. He is survived by his wife; Lisa Burton of Akron, brother; Jonathon Burton of Akron, son; George Burton II of Akron, daughters; Tiffany Burton of Akron and Tamika (Eugene) Dean of Louisville, Ky. George leaves behind many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family. He will be forever loved and missed by all.

There will be no funeral service, cremation has been placed, a Celebration Of Life for George will be June 22nd 2024 at Elite Banquet Hall from 12:00-4:00 on 3427 Manchester Rd Coventry Township, OH 44319
