Loving wife of the late Owen Stormer Roberts and loving mother of Owen Steven Roberts, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord, on September 10th, 2023. Her husband Owen passed in 2005. Evelyn loved her family and enjoyed gatherings on both the Galford and Roberts sides. She was the second youngest of twelve, and was predeceased by brothers: Ross, Kent, Denver, and Raymond Galford and was sisters: Leone Zito, Alta Elizabeth Harris, Lorene Wasmer, Dortha Fornash, Gae Bennett, Hallie Norman, and Gertrude Bacorn.

She will be missed by her friends and staff at the Gardens in Cuyahoga Falls and her friends and neighbors in Suffield.

When she moved to Akron, Evelyn worked as a waitress, and married Owen. Special thanks are given to staff of The Gardens of Cuyahoga Falls and Alara Hospice for care in her last years.

Services will be at St. Luke's Church in Copley-Fairlawn at 10 am, Saturday, October 14, 2023. There will be a private interment at Greenlawn Cemetery, in Springfield Township where she will be laid to rest with her husband Owen of 39 years.
