It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Duncan age 71, of Akron, Ohio, on March 2, 2026. Born on April 3, 1954, in Akron to Arthur Watkins, Sr. and Madeline Jackson George, she grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and the values that would guide her throughout her life. She graduated from Coventry High School in 1972 and carried a lifelong passion for family, friends, and the joys of everyday life.
Donna shared 43 wonderful years with her devoted spouse Juaneva, who, along with her family, were the center of her world. She is survived by her beloved son Stephen (Jennifer); her seven treasured grandchildren, Zachary, Kristen, Kayla (Blandon), Tyler D., Tyler R. (Shelby), Brandon, and Dustin (Jasmine); six adoring great-grandchildren; and countless extended family members who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Kenny, parents Arthur Sr. and Madeline and siblings Linda and Archie who left too soon. She is survived by her spouse Juaneva, son Stephen and remaining siblings, John and Bill.
Fiery, loving, and devoted, Donna lived life to the fullest. She was an Ohio sports fanatic, a dedicated gardener, a masterful cook, and a lover of music, camping, fishing, softball, antiquing, and Harley-Davidsons. Holidays, especially Christmas, were her favorite times-filled with laughter, family, and cherished traditions. She opened her heart to animals as well, loving her dog Bella and her cats Jack, Dan, and Paddywhack.
Her life was enriched by deep and enduring friendships, including Jennifer P. aka JP, Syd and Lisa, Tammy and Teresa, Jenny and Tony, and Ray, who shared in her joys and adventures over the years. Her warm heart, fierce spirit, and devotion to those she loved left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.
Donna's memory will forever live on in the stories, traditions, and hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. She was a woman of strength, laughter, love, and boundless generosity, and she leaves a legacy of joy that will never be forgotten.
