Donald James Saltzmann

Donald "Moose" Saltzmann, 55, began his eternal rest Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

He was born March 30, 1970 as the son of the late Thomas Saltzmann and Kathrine J. McGhee.

He loved the outdoors and fishing with family and friends. He enjoyed cooking for anyone who was hungry. He was an avid pool player and a lifelong member of the APA.

He was a humble man that knew he wasn't perfect but always made the best of any situation and went out of his way to make people feel welcomed and loved. He was a big teddy bear and was always a hugger. Anyone who knew him will surely have a story to tell.

He loved the kids that weren't his and especially their children, his grand children were his pride and joy. He also had a soft spot for all of his nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible.

He is survived by his siblings, Bill (Nancy) Cole of Fort Worth TX; Ross (Kathleen) Cole of Fort Walton Beach FL; Gary (Cindy) Cole of Rapid City SD; Jeff (Suzzette) Cole of Valrico FL; Karen (Dave) Robinson of New Castle PA; John (Charlie) Cole of Sharon PA and Larry Cole of Ogden UT.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kathy and his beloved girlfriend April Marino of which he spent 16 wonderful and memorable years with.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Area Cremation Group and there will be no services at this time.
