Debra Betzing

Debra (Debbie) A. Betzing, 73 of Akron, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, to be reunited with the love of her life, June.

She was born on February 3, 1952 in Wadsworth, to Robert and Barbara Ann (Troyan) Seeley.

She graduated from Cuyahoga Valley Christen Academy in 1970, which was the first graduating class.

Debbie was a very heartfelt mother and grandmother who loved to see everyone around her happy and if not, she would make you laugh one way or another. She always put others first and worked very hard at her job; Oak Manor Nursing Home, Largo, FL. She loved her crafts, especially cross-stitch and the color purple. She also had a great fondness for angels and butterflies.

Debbie is survived by her pride and joy, two loving sons, Billy(Tracy)Workman of Pinellas Park, FL, and John(Cindy) Workman, Uniontown, OH. Grandchildren; Brittany, Chelsie, Makenzie, Tyler, Triston, Jay Jay, Sammy, Kendall, Raymond, Collin, Allison, Aiden and several great grandchildren.

Sisters; Tina(Bob) Staggs, Kimberly(Michael) Kessler, Shawn(James) Doheny and Brother; Harry (Bobby)(Carol) Seeley; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great-great nephew.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and husbands.

Please wear anything purple in honor of Debbie's favorite color.

A memorial service to celebrate Debbie's life will be held Sun., Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. to 1:30 at the John Torok Community & Senior Center, 4224 Massillon Rd
