David Simmons was the kind of man who left a lasting impression-kind-hearted, quick to lend a hand, and always ready with a warm smile. If you met him, you knew you had a friend.
He found joy in life's simple pleasures-spending long hours under the hood of a car, where grease-stained hands and quiet focus brought him peace. The lake was his haven, especially with a fishing rod in hand and the sun on his face. But perhaps his favorite place was at the kitchen table, deep in conversation with his beloved mother, where time always seemed to slow down.
David's greatest pride and deepest love was his son, Jaxson Simmons. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and integrity that Jaxson-and all who knew him-will carry forward.
Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we take comfort in knowing his journey continues. He is now in the arms of the Lord, reunited with loved ones who went before him. May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the grace and warmth he so freely gave to others.
