David James Morehouse

David (Dave) James Morehouse, of Akron, Ohio, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on April 1, 2026, after a battle with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). Born on March 13, 1975, he was the beloved son of Connie Morehouse and the late David Alan Morehouse.

Dave was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother whose presence brought strength and love to those around him. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and the care and kindness he showed to everyone in his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; his children, Lexus, Joshua, and Shelby; two brothers; and three sisters. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Memorial service details are being planned for May and will be announced at a later date. Please check back for updated obituary information as arrangements are finalized, allowing family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Dave to gather and celebrate his life.
