Charles David Miller

Charles "Dave" Miller, age 71, of New Franklin, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with cancer.

Dave proudly graduated from Coventry High School, Class of 1972. He retired from Firestone in Akron, where he worked as a Master Auto Technician. A true jack of all trades, Dave seemed to know how to fix just about anything.

He had a deep love for fishing, carpentry, science, history, and movies. If you knew Dave, you knew he always had a story to tell-so you'd better pull up a seat. He was thoughtful, soft-spoken, creative, and kind, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Ike Miller, and his longtime partner, Lori Brady.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Canole; his sisters, Rebecca (Scott) Fanti and Susanne (Rusty) Reeder; and his children, Tina (Tim) Miller, Trudy (Ray) Robinson, Trisha Brown, Amanda (Matthew) Mong, and David Miller.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Paige, Zack, Robert (Maddy), Jacob (McKenna), Justin, Kayla, Asia, Andre Jr., Lorena, Noelle, and Johonna, as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Dave will be held on Sunday, May 3rd, at 4:00 p.m. at Central Park Community Hall, 1795 Steese Road, Green, OH 44720.
