Angie was born in Akron, OH a middle child with an older sister, Christy and younger brother, Jeremiah who she leaves behind. She passed suddenly at her home before Thanksgiving.
She graduated from Garfield High School and went into customer service and waitressing at several local restaurants in the Akron area.
Angie loved singing, music, and Janis Joplin. In her younger years she was an excellent artist. She also loved children, having none of her own, but helped raise her nephews; Michael and John Sylvester, who she leaves behind to remember her. She is now reunited with Moose her therapy dog who saved her life several times.
In her 30's she developed Type I Diabetes and struggled daily. The family thanks Dr. James Salem and his team as well as Dr. Colin Drolshegan who patiently helped her throughout the years. She was no stranger to Akron City Hospital ICU.
She often spoke of her cousins, siblings, and other family members, recalling better days and fond memories. She also leaves behind her mother Phyllis Byrd, father Donald Stonestreet, Ed Moore (who was like step father) as well as her aunt Karen, Peggy, and Jenny (who was like her 2nd mom).
Angie lived her life her way to the very end. We lost our "Grump" and she will be missed today and always. We will keep her memory alive for, "To live in hearts left behind is not to die". Cremation has taken place and in respect to her wishes her ashes will be scattered at one of her favorite places where she spent time canoeing, camping, and gathering with family and friends.
